Leah Walked 27 Steps Today.... By Herself!!!
There is a playroom in our hotel. Its a big space - all carpet and toys. She napped for 4 hours... and played in the playroom for 2 hours. We knew she could... she was just always scared to walk by herself. I wish we would have taped it. We are going to be spending a lot of our free time in that playroom.
By the way our hotel in Guangzou is amazing. There are shops, many restaurants with very good food. Our hotel in Nanjing wasn't terrible, but there really wasn't much to do- the days we spent there felt so long. Now we know that these next 5 days are going to go by fast and we are verryyy happy.
This is the four of us saying goodbye to Veronica in the Airport in Nanjing... The best guide ever! We love her!
Leahs 1st plane ride...
The next morning at breakfast in the hotel...
Hah..The baby carrier was too small...
At the Chen Family's Temple...
These kids were sooooooo cute!! They just ambushed us and they are all saying stuff like.. "I am learning Enlgish... My name is ___. May I please have you're name?... What's you favorite color?" ... and just stuff like that. I asked them "How are you?" and they're like "I am fine. And you?" haha.. so cute!. They all had little notebooks and asked us to write our names in it. I felt like a movie star and I was giving kids an autograph! We were with a group going to dinner and we were the only family who stopped to talk to them. We had to leave to catch up with the group, so we left. We're going to go back and hope to find them again!
Thats a dead snake in there! They put it in alive and they just drown it in the liquor. Supposedly it psychologically heals you. It helps you muscles and limbs.. and I dont know what...
Cheers!
How manly...
In her PJ's...
P.S. Happy Birthday Chris!!!
