ADOPTION IS FINALIZED!!!!

Her personality is completely different today. She is not as whiney as she was yesterday. She was cranky all day yesterday She was fighting her sleep and missing her nanny. When she woke up, she was completely quiet. She just stared at us as she layed in bed. We could tell by the way that she looked at us that she had come to an understanding. I felt she trusted us at the moment. From that moment on she was a whole different little person. She is such a happy, sweet baby.

Today, we ate breakfast and all the families met in the lobby to go to Walmart at 9:30am. Then, we came back to the hotel for a while before we had to go to Civil Affairs to meet with the nannies again and finalize the adoption(!). We wanted her nanny to see Leah but we kind of didn't want Leah to see her nanny because we don't want to go through what we went through yesterday. Luckily she fell asleep on the ride to the C.A. and slept the whole time we were there.

We came back to the hotel and she played mainly in the hallway. She whines when she has to stay in the room. She hates it. She likes to be outside where all the people and action is.

About Leah
She loves to put her face against our face. She'll randomly lean her head and her cheeks against you at any given time (which is so delicious with those soft chunky little cheeks!). She's just so loving. Random people that we meet just can't get enough of her. They all make faces and most of the time she laughs and smiles. Some people pick her up and if the person is interesting enough, she'll act like she's known them for days. She hugs very tight and likes to wrap her arms and legs around us.
Shes very dramatic... she pretends to cry.

Her nanny said that everyone loved her at the orphanage. Actually, her nanny had a very hard time letting her go. She cried by herself in a room and took a lot of pictures of us and of her. She gave us a photo album of all the pictures of her at the orphanage - many that we have not seen before. It was very sweet. She also left her a necklace. We are so grateful that the caretakers at her orphanage took such great care of her and loved her. They left us their email so that we can send them pictures and stuff.

Here are some random pictures of this deliciousness...

Tomorrow, we are going to Confucius Temple!! I'll keep you posted! Keep checking!! Oh yeah, and I added more pictures to the post before this one.

To Sophia: Yes she can walk but only if you hold her hand. We have been practicing with her. She will be walking on her own very soon. She walked with walkers at the orphanage so she was having a little trouble - she kept walking with her chest foward. But she walks facing up now. She learns really fast and is really smart.

To Christian: Haha... you're funny.

To Hannah: I miss you flaka. Tell you're brother to watch out cause I've (Mimi) picked up some ninja skills from the Chinese masters and I can TAKE-HIM-OUT.

P.S.
(Sorry I didnt post for a while, the sometimes internet likes to play games...)
